Cube of a Gelatinous Sort
You are a Gelatinous Cube peacefully patrolling your dungeon when a horde of adventurers suddenly burst in. Time to consume!
Control a slime cube in a big open space while an evergrowing amount of fighters attack you. Consume them by simply touching them and watch them disolve but watch out! If you are already full of adventurers you will be sliced and diced instead! On the plus side, eating all that delicious delicious flesh will make you bigger and give you more energy, allowing you to eat more adventurers at the same time and move faster. I unfortunately didn't have time for a win condition so just play until you lose or tire of playing. :D
Controls (or rather Control) & Instructions:
- Hold the Left Mouse Button to make the Gelatinous Cube move to where you're pointing
- If you have room in your cube (Capacity in bottom right of screen) you can bump into enemies to consume them
- If you *don't* have room they will hurt you instead
- Consumed enemies will disolve over time, freeing up space
- Disolving enemies increases your size, capacity, mass and speed with diminishing payoffs the bigger you are
Made for Ludum Dare 54 inside a 48 hour period (that I spent sick, so not very efficiently used, expect a lot of wonkiness and such)

Going from barely surviving to just being able to sit there wondering just HOW BIG I could get before my computer crashed or I eventually decided to close the tab was a delight! I'm currently at a capacity of 700 and just letting it run.
Little update:No crashes. Where are your gods now, puny fighters?!
I am deeply impressed that it's still running after that long, glad it could give you a little bit of fun! :D
I remember Quick to Judge and I had to check this one out too! It's hilarious devouring adventurers, and how the tables turn from a horde of them chasing you and barely getting around to having SO MUCH SPACE and practically letting them fall into your trap of merely existing 🤣 Well done, even while sick!
Thank you! I hope I'll have more luck next Ludum Dare but I'm glad it could be a bit of fun despite the unfinishedness! :D
Absolutely! And making anything at all is freaking epic, let alone in such a short amount of time and while not feeling well! I'm excited to see your next entry too :D
