You are a box. Your postman has abandoned you. Time to take things into your own hands.

I wasn't very excited about the theme this time so instead of aiming high I made this a more chill weekend of game development where I learnt Godot and tried to explore some new features. This means that this game has utilised advanced technology like tilemaps (!) and parallax (!) and it has two (2!) whole levels!

The game is very simple, you click on your box, drag your mouse and release in order to launch your box to the skies and beyond. The goal is simple: reach the mailbox at the end of the level and complete your mailmans job for him. There are complications in the form of slimes but I think you can manage to avoid them. :)

Tips:

* You throw your box with more power the further away from the box your mouse is when you release.

* You can utilise the above point in conjunction with zooming in and out in order to get more precise control or more max power.

* You can always restart by pressing R.

* Slimes wobble, that is an important tip.     slime.gif

Tools used:
* Godot

* Aseprite

* Bosca Ceoil

* Audacity

Hope it gives you a couple of minutes of fun!

Once I realized there was no limit on how far you could yet yourself, I couldn't stop cracking up! I really wanna see a video of someone completing level 1 in one shot. Level 2 on the other hand... omg I think I got close to the end but idk. I love that a roof was added so it couldn't just be a yeet-stravaganza again (and that it was left as an option for the first one!), and the way that it meant the box would roll and tumble as it hit it (or even as I shot low but far so it would have loads of forward momentum as it hit the ground) was just as hilarious and fun. Great job!
